Not all candles have to smell like pure pumpkin (although those are my favorite), so I have included my favorite candle scents for the fall from savory to sweet!
Let’s be real, I personally don’t know anyone who does not love the scent of walking into a home during the fall season and smelling a crisp apple or pumpkin candle. The aroma of candles in the fall makes you feel all warm and cozy inside. Even with warmer temps, burning a fall scent in my room or kitchen just gets me so excited for the crisp season ahead!
Some candles may be too sweet or rich smelling to burn in the kitchen, so I have included some mild smelling ones that could be burned in the kitchen or in a more sensitive room.
Bath and Body Works 3-wick candles are by far my absolute favorite for the fall and now is the perfect time to stock up on them! At $24.50 a candle (and most of the time they are on sale for $12.50!) you cannot go wrong with the amount of burn time for the price. My favorites for this season include:
Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin– Has notes of pumpkin, clove, and cinnamon.
Vanilla Pumpkin Marshmallow– Has notes of caramel, sweet vanilla, and a spicier pumpkin.
Leaves– A classic B&BW scent for fall, includes hints of apples, spice, and clove.
Vetiver Sandalwood– A newer addition to my fall candle collection, smells more musky and woody. A good option for the kitchen or dining room.
Autumn Apricot– My go to fall candle for the kitchen. Has notes of apricot, mango, and musk.
I first discovered Rewined Candles when shopping through WestElm looking for throw pillows. These candles are handcrafted and the glass is made from recycled wine bottles. Each scent is hand-poured and this Spiked Cider scent is perfect for the fall/winter months.
Anthropologie is another go-to spot for year-round candle purchases. Their Capri Blue brand has released a pumpkin candle for the fall which has notes of pumpkin, cider, and brown sugar. Not to mention the cutest recycled glass jar!
My final pick for fall scented candles is one found on a whim at Bloomingdales. NEST candles come in all different scents for year round and while a bit of a splurge, these candles have a burn time of 3-4 hours at a time and their aroma fills the entire home. This pumpkin chai candle smells of different spices including cardamom, ginger, and cinnamon.
I hope you all find the fall candle that best suits you and your home, and happy (almost) fall!
