Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Mine was spent eating some delicious pasta and drinking glasses of wine underneath the Plaza Hotel. This time of year always makes me so giddy for the holidays! I have already begun planning what I will be cooking with my mom for Thanksgiving this year and have already planned out some Christmas shopping!
Today I am so excited to share my picks for this years Sephora VIB sale. The sale is currently available to VIB members using the code 20FORVIB beginning November 10-15 for 20% off your entire purchase, and Beauty Insiders using the code INSIDERS15 for 15% off on those same dates. I have included a slew of what I think I’ll be purchasing as gifts and some picks for myself included. (Shhh, don’t tell Santa but I think I’ll be treating myself this year!)
All of these palettes or gift sets are fairly new for this holiday season and not to mention the price point for the value of these items cannot be beat! For example, the Glamglow set is valued at $131 but is only $69 without the discount!
12 Days Ole-Glow Skincare Advent Calendar– This cute holiday advent calendar is the perfect skincare gift for any skin type! Ole Henriksen has some serious go-to products that beauty lovers swear by and this collection features some of their most favorite products!
Tarte Tarteist Pro-Glow Highlight & Contour Palette– This palette is a really great gift for anyone on your Christmas list! The six shades are perfect for highlighting and contouring and even bronzing around the face. I love how versatile this palette is as well.
Glamglow Supermud Let-It-Glow Set– Glamglow has always been my number one choice for face masks and with the whole face mask craze going on right now this holiday gift set is perfect for any girl or guy on your list.
Bare Minerals The Hidden Treasure Shadow Palette– Bare Minerals released this palette just a few days ago and Oh Em Gee is this not the most gorgeous eyeshadow palette ever! Every color is perfect for different looks from everyday to dramatic.
These splurge items are perfect to pick up at the VIB sale because with the 20% or even 15% off these items are severely discounted from their regular prices. If you have been wanted that curling iron or expensive perfume for a while now, this is the time!
T3 Hot Rollers– This is on my wishlist this year (please Santa!) and I have listed it as a splurge item for those who want a different way to curl their hair. I know hot rollers may seem like a thing of the 80’s but with some good practice and sectioning off of your hair it seriously can replace any good blowout and make your hair so voluminous.
Jo Malone English Oak & Red Currant– Again another item on my wishlist, I know why me right?! I first smelled a sample of this new cologne from Jo Malone in an Elle magazine and holy moly, it is seriously one of the best perfumes I have ever smelled. Jo Malone colognes are unisex so they can be used on both men and women which I love because the masculinity and the femininity of this scent will honestly blow your mind. Just imagine a smokey, floral forest with hints of rose and musk.
These items are my go-to staples for everyday makeup and skincare. Some are more recent loves and some I have been using for years and years. I hope these products inspire some future makeup and skincare obsessions!
Kate Sommerville Anti-Bac Lotion– I have constantly had a battle with acne on my face. I really didn’t have the worst acne (thank goodness) throughout my teenage years but have always had those little white annoying bumps on my face that I was only able to get rid of with a dermatologists prescription. As I have grown into my early 20’s, I have begun to notice a change in my skin’s overall type and it has become more oily. I got a recommendation from my best friend and a Sephora skincare specialist to try the Kate Sommerville Anti-Bac lotion that has benzoyl peroxide as one of its main ingredients and you guys, this product has completely changed my skin for the better.
Urban Decay All Nighter Spray– My oily skin makes it hard to keep makeup on throughout a night but this product is my go-to setting spray for long days and nights.
Anastasia Brow Whiz– My go-to for eyebrows. I was so set on filling in my brows with eyeshadow at one point early on in my makeup years, but this brow pencil has seriously changed the game. If you have never tried this, this is a go-buy-this-now recommendation.
Beauty Blender Gift Set– This is my all time favorite gift set for Beauty Blenders. Blenders make the overall appearance of concealer, foundation, or any other liquid face product look so much smoother on the skin. They also allow for better blending (duh) of a contour or highlighting product.
This wishlist has been compiled from recent wants and recommendations from friends or Beauty Bloggers. I am hoping to get these during the sale or test them out before hand.
Laura Mercier Translucent Powder– Please do not judge me for not having this makeup product already! I have heard so much about this powder and all the multi-functioning purposes it has from baking to setting makeup. I am so excited to try this one out!
Nars Creamy Concealer– This concealer has been on Sephora’s favorites and best selling products for the longest time now and I have always wanted to try it! I am a bit skeptical as to the consistency of it, and I am hoping it will not cake under my eyes, but we shall see!
Nars Lip & Blush Set– This adorable blush and lip set from the new collab from Nars and Man Ray Love is the absolute cutest packaging for a holiday gift! One color already has sold out on the Sephora site due to the sale, but I am hoping to get my hands on the other one!
I hope these sale picks inspire you to pick some up at the Sephora sale before all the good ones sell out! Let me know what’s on your Christmas or holiday shopping list, and don’t forget to treat yourself as well. Happy shopping!
