Starting off a fresh week with some brand new shoes is always a great thing, isn’t it? This weekend I took a little trip out east with my boyfriend and my sister. We ate some really great food and it was just wonderful, but lately I have been feeling a little out of touch.
Two weeks ago I began my courses for my masters degree and boy I did not know what to expect! The courses themselves are wonderful, really engaging and something I love learning about, but combined with long days with four-year-olds, finding time for my workouts, and classes, I was becoming really tired and not as productive as I usually was.
Did I also mention that last Monday was my 23rd birthday! My birthday came and went just as it was any other day and honestly I am a bit disappointed about it. I usually am one to go all out for my birthday but because it fell on a Monday this year, it felt drained and nothing like my “special day.” We were able to have a birthday brunch the Sunday before and that was lovely and spent yet again eating too much food. I am hoping to get out of this funk I am in very soon and find some creativity in me to spark some new content.
OH, and I also dyed my hair back to my natural color. That was a thing.
My comfy cozy weekend outfits now consist of comfy boyfriend jeans, new kicks, and some cozy thermal tops. I am seriously craving some warm weather right about now so that I can switch this wardrobe around and bring out the blush and nude tones for the spring.
I hope you all loved reading about this little life update of mine, and if not, I hope you like the outfit I put together!
